How To Train Your Crood by AriellaMay How To Train Your Crood by AriellaMay
Tumblr

This is from a little while ago... What would happen if Toothless and Chunky had a little run in? Who would win in a fight? Who's more adorable? Who's more fun to draw??? WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE??
So many questions...
Toothless came out really dark, and scanning unfortunately didn't help. BUt hopefully you can still tell its him. Also the page got a little wrinkly due to the watercolour.

I love the coloring! It looks really good; you're scanner can't be THAT bad ^^! Also great, expressions and positions. The faces of chunky and Toothless! XD

This is amazing!!!

May I ask what setting you used to scan it in? Mine are always dark with bright colours >.>

Thanks very much!! :)

Usually for scanning I don't change any of my printer settings (never have either, so they're the ones the program opened with) but as this was so long ago, I can't remember if I fiddled with them for this… but usually I scan at 200 dpi, jpeg format, with no colour correction, adaptive lighting or sharpening turned on. Colour Restoration seems to be checked, but I don't think it makes much of a difference. These settings are for an HP Deskjet, so you may have different settings. My best advice would just be to play around with any settings you have, or use Photoshop. I also just use my digital camera if scanning doesn't work out. :meow: Best of luck!
